Tulving Order Volume, July 1999 through January, 2014

Below is the estimated order volume of The Tulving Company, in orders per day, from July 1999 through January, 2014.

The average volume was typically around 15-20 orders per day until around mid-2009, with order volume roughly 50/day around 2011.

Note that at some point in 2011 he changed the invoice numbers around, so I have that time period set to zero.

You can select ranges in the chart to zoom in, and double-click to zoom back out. By zooming in to the past 1-2 years, you will see that his volume doubled around April, 2013 (when the delays got serious), going back to normal around mid-June, 2013.

I only have about 85 invoice numbers, whereas there were somewhere around 150,000 total orders in all, so the data is not perfect (e.g. you will see spikes in some places that do not actually indicate high volume).

NOTES:

  • For a few years, data was not readily available, so some extrapolation was used that may generate estimates that are significantly off.
  • 2012 and 2013 are based on actual numbers from QuickBooks, from the bankruptcy.
  • For 2014, the $10M number is from QuickBooks, and $62M is the annualized amount (if he stayed in business at those rates)
